interface basics the first thing one would notice when they see the chamber capsule is that there is no keyboard, no controller to control one's actions in the game. it consists of one seat. soft as it may be, it is highly sophisticated. one may stay in the game for days without leaving and still be supported by the chamber capsule.
in digimon online, their senses are tricked to believe that they are truly in the game. the cooler or warmer temperatures, the touch and feel of their digimon is completely believable. there are only two things that tip one off that this isn't real (other than their digimon, of course). one thing is the satellite which is one's digivice in the game. it is blue or red, depending on one's usergroup. the colored underline under your display name is the normal color of your character. the other thing is the thick black line in the top of one's vision. when searching for the menu, the line drops down and becomes a translucent menu that covers half of one's screen.
movement in digimon online is all based on the will of the player. walking appears and feels the same as walking in the real world. (of course, there are some exceptions, like if one was paralyzed in the real world. they'd be able to walk and run here.) fatigue still occurs when one moves around too much.
the game is fully interactive, meaning that even the foliage can be manipulated.

chat in digimon online, there are several ways of "speaking." officially, languages used in the game are translated to english, but options can change this. with all the tech floating around, a translator seems kind of ... expected, don't you think? it doesn't seem to effect accents that well, carrying them over even to the game.
whisper is a common thing found in mmorpgs. it is direct communication between two players. in digimon online, it may feel like one has telecommunication since one's lips does not move and their voice would enter one's mind.
party whisper is chatting to a group of chosen people. like whisper, it can only be heard by those it is directed to.
shout is chatting to everyone. it can only be used when one has bought a hidden item and the magami staff reserve the right to take this item away.
alert is what the magami staff may use to alert everyone of their announcements. a generic feminine voice would read a black text box that shows up in the bottom on one's line of sight. this is only use for magami announcements.
normal speaking, of course, can only be heard by those around them.
while this is all going on, one might also be able to pull up several other forms of communication, ie. anything within the message system board.

fail safe Digimon Online has a "fail safe" system that kicks a user out of the game if they were to get "knocked out" or unconscious. It gives them a moment to breath before they get back into the game. This is also to keep players safe.
If the player starts to become overloaded with sensations, they are also kicked out of the game. Like the example above, this is to keep the players safe.
We do try to take care of our beta testers both physical and mental strength.
Once a player does return to the game, both them and their digimon partner will arrive at the inn they had last visited.
