Basics Digimon have no biological sex. This means that a male garudamon will look no different than a female garudamon. Physically (... or digitally?) their bodies are exactly the same. However, they may hold gender roles. This means they may act more feminine or more masculine or stick with being androgynous.
Generally, digimon that are not partnered are mindless. They are fodder with out an AI and are left for players to defeat. This is one of the reasons why they are allowed into the MAGAMI staff building.
Digimon can stray from their partners.
Under normal circumstances, they do not die. They are reformed.

digivolution Digimon are able to have more than one digivolution line. This means that your agumon can digivolve to both Greymon and Shine Greymon. Digimon lines on Systematic Breakdown follow DMA Digidex / Digimon Wiki / Wikimon. However, if there is a digimon not listed there but appears to relate to yours, you may ask a staff member if you can have your digimon to digivolve to it.
Digimon are only able to digivolve directly before or during a battle. They cannot stay in their evolved forms out of battle without meeting certain requirements.

partner digimon To match Digimon World Three, a digimon's child form also grows stronger with each technique and evolution they gain. This means that they will be stronger than another digimon that only has their starter level. Of course, it is not the only factor in being able to defeat them and there are limits to this. Even if they may have stronger power, speed, and defense, they will not be as strong as their adult form unless they have earned mega.
Likewise, forms that gained more techniques are also stronger than those who have not earned any. For example, a Greymon that has Nova Blast will be a bit stronger than a Greymon that doesn't. Keep in mind that this is not significantly stronger but similar to a very minor boost. Say, if two agumon went head to head. Both had baby flame, but one had another technique and they both used baby flame against each other. The two moves would cancel each other out as if they were equal, but the clash would be somewhat more pressed towards the agumon with only one technique, meaning they would get a little more damage that the one with two techniques.
