Directly after entering the digital world the first time, one arrives at the [tangent=
]
login room[/tangent] where lights stream from platforms where one's avatar first appears Digimon Online. Directly leaving this location, the player arrives in the [tangent=
]
main lobby[/tangent]. The [tangent=
]
front desk[/tangent] located near the MAGAMI HQ entrance is where one obtains their digimon. From here, they have four locations to go to from here. A little northeast is the [tangent=
]
MAGAMI HQ[/tangent] (closed off to all but MAGAMI staff). On the lower right is the [tangent=
]
digimon lab[/tangent], where one could gain more information about their digimon than their menu could provide. On the left, it leads to the actual [tangent=
]
Asuka City[/tangent].
Asuka City is a bustling place, even it's nightlife is active. Because it is the first city everyone sees in the game and where the MAGAMI HQ is quartered, it isn't all that surprising. Asuka city is separated into levels and bridges. The top level contains plenty of [tangent=
]
shops[/tangent] for players to buy from. It also contains a decent sized [tangent=
]
inn[/tangent], which acts as a respawn site for players that were defeated within Central Sector. It is run by several NPC Gatomon and Gardromon. Within the inn, there is a path way that leads to the sewers and to the pub. Haha, yeah, there's no kids allowed in the [tangent=
]
pub[/tangent] and the effects are still the same. Hidden behind the shops is the [tangent=
]
Black Market[/tangent]. They say if a player spends enough bits, they can find the pathway to the Black Market ...
The [tangent=
]
underground path[/tangent] act as a path way to the [tangent=
]
sewers[/tangent] or the other level of Asuka City which contains a small [tangent=
]
island[/tangent] that is loosely connected to the main part of Asuka City through a bridge. There are several trees decorating the grassy isle, but that isn't the part that most care about when arriving there. Near the entrance to the sewers on the lower level there are a few other things of interest. The most famous of them is the [tangent=
]
card shop[/tangent] called
Yellow Cruiser. The game is based off the one that MAGAMI made in the real world. However, the game is difficult to learn and play, very few actually do play it. Most simply collect them. Next to it is the club [tangent=
to enter the club, an
el dorado ID pass is needed. this is only obtainable through special means.
]
El Dorado[/tangent]. It is famous for having an auction house, but applications to become a member can be pretty severe.
The city is connected to the rest of D.O. by a bridge, aptly named [tangent=
]
Asuka Bridge[/tangent]. The city, itself, is surrounded by water, made more notable by the appearance of the bridge and [tangent=
needs a
special item in order to summon the digimon lurking beneath.
]
a strange dock[/tangent] located close by. Rumors have it that a digimon could be summoned to travel, however, it would seem that no one has been able to find said digimon.
Under normal circumstances (ie. when there are no events in this city) are there are no wild digimon wandering around.
