ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
It was like any other day. He had logged onto the popular online game where you raised and fought Digital Monsters. You should all know this game- anyone who didn't was considered to be an outcast. Naturally, he and his friend had gotten into the game. However, in truth, the two were fans long before the game became popular. It wasn't much of a surprise at all that the duo were online, Shujin on the school computer and Nikolai on his laptop. Clicks filled the air, and neither made a sound.
"...Wha... Spam?" Until Kou spoke up, eyebrows raising in mild interest. Nikolai's gaze never left his laptop. "Whatever, man. Just delete it if it's spam and start playing! I'll end up owning your ass if you don't." The blue-haired boy, however, did not comply. "Dude, come over here an see this! Seriously, it's weird!" Nikolai heaved a sigh and closed his laptop shut. "Fine, but if you lose, don't complain. Moron." Setting the rectangular device aside, he stood up and stuffed his hands in his pockets and trudged over to the other. The bluenette was wearing his goggles and studying the message intensely. "'Ey, what's up? It can't be that weird, can it?" He placed a hand on Shuu's shoulder and leaned over. His eyes widened and he had to push up his glasses to keep them from falling off his face. "Wh-What the...?"
"Get your hand off," Shujin shrugged the hand away and moved a bit to the right. He wasn't in the mood to listen to his friend's astonishment. He was more concerned with this... thing. It had to be a code of some kind, and some malevolent bastard had decided to send it to them to fuck with their brains. But then, if that was true... Why did he feel the need to figure out the meaning of it all so, so, so badly. Silently, Kou read the message over and over in his head, slowly, but surely making sense of the cryptic nonsense. When the answer came to him, his eyes narrowe and he stood up, the chair rolling back slightly.
"...*******?"
A light eminated from the screen and a powerful gust of wind knocked the fourteen-year old goggles first into the computer. He was surprised to find out a moment later that he'd phased through it. And the screams of his friend were not too far behind. "Shit--" He cursed, but the collision cut him off and knocked him out, throwing him a ways away from his friend. They would soon meet up, however. And with an addition to their small duo, too.
