[/ul] OTHER NOTES- History: As a boy, Kei has been a cheerful and a noisy kid, anything a parent would know as an indication of a healthy child. Nothing about him made it seem as if he would turn into a silent boy, hidden in his own recluse. But he did.
- To keep it short, a close friend had betrayed him. His close friend had been caught, stealing from a store. However, his friend dragged Kei in and told the police that it had been Kei who ordered him to steal, even going so far as to provide false evidence, which the police had believed. Kei had denied, over and over, but the police was not convinced, and blamed it on Kei. The sanction that was placed upon Kei was not huge, but his trust for humanity had fallen, and he began to be a silent boy ever since then.
- This event had also strengthened Kei's sense of justice, hating forever injustice, and making sure that laws would be followed, so as to make sure that nothing that had happened to him before would happen to anyone else.

WHITEsixteen years old - male - heterosexual YOSHIYA 'JOSHUA' KIRYU, the world ends with you HEIGHT 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm). BUILD Lanky, but a bit leaning to sturdy.
CREST [Does staff put this in, or will I have to put in what I think is best for my character?] REASON FOR JOINING BETA TESTING Invited as a Beta Tester by MAGAMI corp.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE The boy opened his eyes. And then closed it again. And once again, opened it again. There was no difference, closed eyes or not, everything was still pitch black. The boy was confused, wasn't he supposed to end someplace like a login room of some sort? Well, this was weird.
The boy's question was answered quickly, however, as a beacon of light appeared seemingly out of nowhere. The bright light pained the boy's eyes for a while, still unaccustomed with the sudden appearance of light within the pitch black room. ...If it was a room, of course.
But that wasn't all, the light began to slowly move towards the boy in an odd occurrence, as if the light itself was alive and began to reach out towards the boy. In excitement, in anger, in sadness, the boy did not know, he could not examine the light's feelings, if the beam of light had one.
Once the light was close enough to the boy, it was then that he noticed that in the middle of the light was an egg of sorts. A huge egg at that, multiple times bigger than a regular chicken egg. But it was also like an easter egg, the egg being decorated with horizontal yellow stripes. A gigantic, easter egg. Amazing how these game creators' imaginations go through the roof these days.
The boy assumed that he would have to take the egg since there was no other thing that he could do to possibly evoke a reaction out of the silent and dark room, he took the egg with his hands, feeling the cool shell on his soft skin. Wow, so it was true that the game would feel as life-like as possible, the technology was just... stunning.
It was then that the boy was immediately blinded with a strong, white light. So bright, that the boy instinctively cried out in pain and covered his eyes with one hand, just barely able to stabilize the egg in the other hand. The pain in his eyes receded, and he began to grow accustomed to the light after a while, slowly opening his eyes and then examining the room. It was a completely white room, a big room, enough to fit a hundred of people if they were to lie down on the floor.
The boy's attention was caught by a sound of a small crack from the egg. He turned his egg and stabilized the egg with both hands, watching as the egg's shell began to crack and give way. The egg then cracked open, revealing a fluffy, white monster inside the egg. The egg's unneeded shell then disappeared instantly, leaving the white and unfamiliar monster in its place.
So this is what a Digital Monster, or Digimon, was called. Interesting, such an odd monster. Yes, the game creators had such high imagination, the Digimon was a being unlike anything he had seen, yet the boy himself had grown attached to the being instantly. So was this what they had called a 'partner'? The monster squeaked in response of the boy's thoughts. Hm, cute. So was the monster able to sense his thoughts? Highly doubt it, but then again, with such high-tech equipment, maybe they could.
A neon sign then lit up at the opposite end of the room, with the boy just barely able to make do of the word 'exit'. So was this the start of his journey, finally? The boy walked towards the door, apathetic. Taking emotionless steps towards the door, not caring if he were to really exit of not.
It was just a game, after all.
