He stared across the field wide eyed with joy. Kouichi never expected it to work. Everything he had worked on was theoretical, a hopeful dream, to be able to see his work in action was ... Well, he'd never thought he'd live to see someone pay for designs.

However, there was something strange, off. He walked up to one of the flowers. It's intricate design, while beautiful, was foreign to him. He frowned, plucking it easily from the ground. The flower flickered, just for a second, before breaking off.

" ... It's not all mine, is it?"

The man behind him, the one who had brought out his designs, shook his head. "No. But it would have been difficult if everything was resting on your shoulders."

"I ... understand." But there was still a frown on his lips as he let the flower drop to the ground once more. It was childish to think that everything in the world was of his design, but he couldn't help the feeling of jealousy rising up in the pit of his stomach. They'd touched and seen his work so clearly. If it weren't for his impeccable trademark on each item he created, he wouldn't even have noticed how the flower stuck out at him.
