• he mysteriously woke up in digimon online with no recollection of what went on before; he doesn't know how to wake up ... yet.
  
• but that's because he's an amnesiac. something clearly went wrong during his transitional period between real life and the game. at least his body is still in one of the pods. he is, memory-wise, essentially reset.
  
• before his losing his memories, he used to be an only child - spoiled with various technological items yet bound to solidarity by strict rule, iron-fisted governance and a select few correspondents.
  
• he's magami staff ... or at least, used to be. the glitch overrode most of what he'd gained and worked for, so at the moment he's another normal player relearning the game. oddly, his digimon hasn't changed despite losing its evolutions and techniques.
  
• staff members who were there when he was still can recognize him and gives him the odd look sometimes. irl-wise? he hasn't quite figured out how to log off. maybe he's dead and hasn't realized it.

REASON FOR JOINING BETA TESTING scouted out by the president of magami himself after his work on scripts and various codes posted on his website, zero.skyline.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE he stirred, eyes opening slowly as his nerves flickered to life. he felt as if a bus had knocked him over and sent him flying. the thirteen-year-old took a deep breath. his lungs felt normal; his ribs didn't feel about to give. he was still alive. all that was left was the lack of sensation he was feeling in his limbs ... he'd figure that out later.

eventually, he got up on his feet. he was still wobbly; the boy hobbled over to the seat he used to crouch upon even as a child. he shut his eyes, frantically trying to piece together what had happened. yes, there was the horrid blow to his head - he remembered - his mother - holding - ... he raised a hand to his face, rubbing it. it didn't help his tangled memories, but it did make him feel better.

there was a blow; a harsh one, too. "mother ..." he muttered. he knew she had always been strict on him, but this time? it felt different. a lot more violent. maybe this was her backing up her words.

"if it's the money you lost to mrs. tomita, i can get it back for you!" he yelled, clutching his head with both hands - he could hear her footsteps - "i just need ... time. i-if it's my fault, i can change."

"juststopit. nomore. nomoreplease."

the child dissolved; the older one was still lying on his bed in cold sweat, wondering, trying very hard to think of who the child really was.
