overview

MAGAMI staff controls the entire island and the game. However, the only ones that will bare the red underline are those who are part of the staff in game. Regardless of what they wear, there will always be something about them within the game that signifies that they are not regular players. This could be a red armband or even a head band. Their satellite is red rather than blue.

kimura kouichi » Jäger » president

Kouichi is the president of MAGAMI's DO branch. Pretty much every thing on the island, whatever happens, is his responsibility.

alice mccoy » all-ice » adviser

Alice is Kouichi's adviser. She has a few staff skills in game, for example, patching things up. However, her job relies on making Kouichi a fitting leader.

maximum clearance

Characters with max clearance are allowed in the master room of DO's version of MAGAMI's headquarters. These include the president, the adviser, city leader and their admin, and the directors.

city leader

The city leader is exactly as it sounds. They are in charge of their perspective cities and regions. Because of their rank, they are able to take care of threats that none of those below them can do. In addition to it all, they are the ones that a player must defeat in order to obtain a badge. They are able to issue events that are isolated to their particular sectors. Asuka City is the only city without a city leader. This is mainly due to the fact that it holds the only admin center in the entire game.

Cuddles, as everyone calls him, serves as the Seiryu Citly Leader. Despite being a relatively easy trolling guy, he actually keeps watch over the entire East Sector with his admin by his side. Players would have to fight him if they would like a badge from the city ... assuming that they manage to reach him.

takenouchi sora » evoluzione » suzaku city leader

After obtaining a badge from Sir Cuddles, the next person to challenge is Evoluzione. This mother like character is actually in charge of the once new south sector. With its headquarters located smackdab in the center of the sector, the city she belongs to is called Suzaku City.

admin

Admin is the highest rank one can receive that is not a city leader. Generally, they are close to one particular city leader and act as their second command. It is a rank that has to be earned in character by getting closer to the city leader of their choice. Once a City Leader decides on an admin, it is up to them the City Leader to report it to a staff member.

Along by Evoluzione's side is Valiente. The pair work together in an almost slapstick comedy if they aren't busy watching over their sector.

directors

Directors are what the central sector is filled with. While they do not control an entire sector, they are in charge of those below them. They may act as assistants to both City Leaders and Admins. However, they are not tied to a particular sector. Like Game Moderators, they are allowed to host small events, but they are more known to give missions to other MAGAMI staff members. This is a rank that is earned in character.

Characters here are granted access to the second floor of the DO side of MAGAMI's Headquarters.

game moderators

Game Moderators are the supervisors of digimon online. What this means is that if they come across bugs, they report them (regardless if they solve it or not) and take care of it if it's within their power. If they see suspicious activity, they report it also and chase after it. They're somewhat like the middle man, because they don't have to go around doing more than that since the Moderators take care of the minor things. So, they can enjoy the game far more than those below and above them (well, other than their hidden counterparts) because they're allowed to a decent amount of places within the admin center to just roaming around Digimon Online.

They are allowed to host small events, which is why this job is limited. For these events, whatever it may be, they will be allowed to summon NPC digimon. The levels of the digimon depend on the level of the digimon the GM has. Of course, all events must be approved by staff. ('cause we gotta turn them into an announcement when it is posted so people can see it, right?)

hidden game moderator (hidden gm)

Like their name suggests, their true “colors” are hidden. Masked under the disguise as a player, they are able to squeeze in and get along with players more easily than Game Moderators. They are even allowed to participate in gathering badges from each city leader and participating in the digimon tournament. However, their identity as part of staff is kept hidden until they enter the admin building (no duh). Not even other staff members know that they are related to them until the reveal their true “colors.” Because they are allowed to join in any site event, they are not given the ability to host small events. But, they can send away digimon that are in the area via teleportation, but this only works on digimon that are around the same level as they are. Of course, this cannot work on "boss" digimon.

game moderators

While their job sounds similar to that of a Game Moderator, their main purpose it to handle the little things. Think of them as patrolling police. Typically, they’re the ones wearing arm bands showing that they moderators. They’re the first line of defense when it comes to affairs among other players. While they may spot bugs or are reported about them, they cannot do anything about it. Typically, they are not as experienced programmers as Game Moderators. In fact, some might call them inters with more power.

They are the lackeys of Digimon Online. If anyone above them asks for something, they’re up and going for it, no matter how unreasonable it sounds. Of course, because they are not officially on Digimon Online’s payroll, there’s many things that they are unable to do.
