In the real world, a digivice is shaped much like the modern iphone. However, it's far thinner and sleeker than one. Barely a centimeter thick, it is a wonder just how such a device can be created. Now, don't think that just because the device is thin that it is not sturdy, it can free fall over three stories and still be intact. They were designed for functionality and sleekness for the normal businessman. It is not a mere toy, despite being designed to use for a game.
In the digital world, the device reconstructs itself, becoming the small satellite floating close to one's head. The menu is a translucent grey object in a player's line of vision when closed. It comes down over half of the player's line of vision when they call on it.
