known as legiondary in digimon online, ryou has been playing the game for a long, long time. in fact, he was a part of magami - until something happened and he lost everything, memory included. magami staff
judging from the looks most staff members give him, he probably held some kind of high-ranking position (director-level at least, you get the idea) before mysteriously disappearing, then resurfacing more than a couple months after public beta release. people would definitely know him, or even looked up to him. maybe people would think he's now working as an undercover staff member, idk. feel free to launch ideas here, i find this kind of dynamic interesting.
players
he probably cut quite the intimidating presence before the reset, or he was just outright mean, or he helped people before. the older players would definitely remember him from before his disappearance, since he was really actively doing stuff as staff and as a player. right now? he's a complete newbie, but feel free to have an adult-wielding tamer come in and challenge him to a fight. friends, old rivals, old tagteams, or whatever, just shoot.
real life
he doesn't look like his real life self at all, but that shouldn't stop plots in this category. childhood friends, classmates, whatever. they all work; ryou needs to plot with everyone. atm he isn't open to rl threads since he hasn't figured out how to log out.

idk, everyone should fall into one of the categories up there ... no? don't worry, just ask (he's an only child though).

I don't know how he'd go with JR but, I'm pretty sure we could work out something? c: JR doesn't have many friends yet, so I'm he'd try his hardest to be the nicest guy ever to him, or at least hold back his usually brash self. xD So, yeah, ideas?

nicest guy ever to him works. just don't expect ryou to help him in return, but he'll keep an eye out for jr .... if he feels like it ^______^ so, friends. if you want, they can be thrown into a dangerous situation together where jr shows his brash side to ryou? it could make for good development. that could work, yeah. jr loves fighting, even if he's kind of new at the whole concept of fighting, it's exciting to him. xD plus any chance for him to get veemon out and about. c:
